Belfast Giants coach Adam Keefe could learn from 'inspirational' brother Sheldon's journey at Toronto Maple Leafs

Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe's brother Adam, who coaches Belfast Giants, has said he is 'ready to help' his brother if he needs it, but he doesn't think he will.

Sheldon Keefe, 42, has been head coach of the Maple Leafs since 2019 and has guided them to two consecutive playoff appearances.

Adam Keefe, 44, has been head coach of the Belfast Giants since 2019 and has led them to two Challenge Cup wins and one Elite League title.

The brothers both played in the NHL, with Adam playing over 400 games for the Lightning and Sheldon playing over 200 games for the Leafs and Lightning.

Adam said he is "very proud" of his brother's success and that he is "always there for him" if he needs anything.

"He's a great coach and a great person," Adam said. "He's always been there for me and I'm always there for him.

"I'm very proud of what he's accomplished. He's a great coach and I'm sure he'll continue to have success."
